NY State Police arrest Addison man for almost twenty crimes, many against children

A Steuben County man faces 19 felony and misdemeanor counts for allegedly committing sex crimes involving a child. State Police Monday afternoon arrested Ryan M. Chase, 41, of Addison.

Here is a rundown of the alleged felony crimes:
First-degree reckless endangerment
First degree sexual abuse involving a physically helpless person
Tampering with physical evidence
Two counts of using a child under age 17 in a sexual performance
Promoting a sexual performance of a child under age 17
The misdemeanor counts include:
Third-degree sexual abuse
Seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child
Five counts of first-degree unlawful dealing with a child involving alcohol
State Troopers said the incident was reported November 1, 2021 and occurred in the village of Addison. Chase was initially detained.
