The “hit and run” occurred near the American Rock Salt mine on I-390 early this morning
New York State Police are investigating a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in the southbound lanes of I-390 sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022.
Troopers say the accident occurred about ¾ mile north of Exit 7 (Mount Morris / Letchworth State Park), directly across from the American Rock Salt mine.
