Southern Tier newsman Zach Wheeler was caught in an embarrassing video by a group who specializes in exposing child predators. When the news broke, WETM issued as statement indicating they would investigate and that Wheeler would be placed on leave until further notice. Today, Wheeler was out at WETM according to this statement:
“Friday evening, WETM was made aware of a video posted to YouTube regarding one of our employees. The local group that posted the video claimed that the employee engaged in inappropriate behavior. WETM management investigated the questions raised by the video, and the employee is no longer employed by WETM.”
