Hornell Public Library Presents The Writers’ Stage

The Hornell Public Library presents The Writers’ Stage, a free literary event for the public at the Hornell Community Arts Center, Broadway Mall, Hornell on June 1, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. (refreshments available). The featured reader for June 1 is Michael Czarnecki, from Wheeler Hill, Kanona, NY, and he’ll be followed by an open mic available to anyone who’d like to share an original poem or bit of prose. Please mark your calendar and join us for a pleasant evening of the spoken word.

Michael Czarnecki is a poet who’s been writing for over half a century. His latest book is called “Before Poetry There Was Music.” Nearly three decades ago he gave up other work to devote his life and energy to poetry. Since then, he has published numerous books and given hundreds of readings throughout the nation. Through FootHills Publishing, he and his wife Carolyn have published a great variety of talented poets and writers from around the USA.
