Don’t miss the 4th of July in Hornell this year

Hornell Partners for Growth announce an all day celebration

Hornell Partners for Growth is excited to announce that there will be a full day of fun and excitement on Monday the 4th of July 2022!  We are excited to be able to do it for Hornell and the surrounding communities again this year!  The Parade will kick the day off at noon, followed by events all day at the Veteran’s Memorial Park at James St ending with the City of  Hornell’s fireworks display at 10:00 PM. 

Parade – Starts at Noon, to view the parade, people can line up along Seneca Street starting at 7-Eleven, and then along Main Street to Bank Street.  Anyone who whishes to be in the parade please meet at the Community Bank parking lot between 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

Family fun at Veteran’s Memorial Park – From 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

The park will be filled with many family fun activities, Hornell Partners for Growth, City Workers, Business owners, several Church representatives, and the Hornell High School Student Volunteers are all working together to provide as many events that can be free to the community as possible! 

This year we will have live music playing music throughout the park, Times may be off a bit to allow change over, Noon to 1:00 – Iro Cosmic, 1:30 – 3:30 – Matt Burns, 4:30 – 6:30 – Unoriginal Gravity, 7:00 – 10:00 – Public Works Supply.

Free Bounce House, End Zone Football Bounce, Two Lane Bounce Slide, 40’ Obstacle Course, Wildflower Planters to take home, Bird Feeder Kits, and more while supplies last.  There is also some pay as you go Activities/games, an much more being planned over the next few weeks.

City Pool – Will be ran by the Hornell YMCA and will be open from Noon – 4:00PM, it is Free for YMCA Members, .75 for Hornell Residents, $1.50 for Non-Residents per entry and $2.00 for an all day pass regardless of residency.

Cruize’n Time Car Show – 9:00 – 1:00 registration, Show 1:00 – 4:00 PM, Awards at 4:00 PM, Allowing for the car’s participating to take part in the parade.

Fireworks – After a full day of Independence Day Celebrations, we will end the night with Hornell’s Largest fireworks Show to date at 10:00 PM.

Craft & Food Vendors:  Any vendor who would like an application to set up at the park, please send HPG an email at hornellpartners@gmail.com.

Volunteers:

This event is not possible without volunteers!  If you are or know a Hornell High School incoming senior or Honor Student who is required to get volunteer hours next year, they are authorized to get them done with HPG at July 4 Celebration.  Please contact HPG by email hornellpartners@gmail.com or calling 607-324-9786. 

***  Any other school that would like to allow students to get their hours done at this event please have the school representative contact HPG so they can start to take names.
