July 16th will be a “day full of fun”

The Summer Learning Program is in full swing at the Dormann. It all started with a kick-off party and free picnic on Saturday, July 9th, but it’s not too late to sign up and participate!  Join us for “Oceans of Possibilities” with games, crafts, activities, performers, and prizes all summer long!

Grab a BINGO board to keep track of your reading, no matter your age, and be entered to win some beachy prizes!

As usual, our Spice of the Month, Grab and Go Crafts, In-Person Crafts, and Tail Waggin’ Tutors will be offered, but we’ve got much more planned…

Saturday, July 16th will be a full day of fun for kids!  Join author Linda Rittenhouse for a Poetry Workshop from 11:00 to noon, and then stay for Life-Sized Board Games at 12:30!  While the kids are busy, parents can meet and greet this local author from 12:30-2:00.

The Science and Discovery Center will hold Science Camp at the Dormann July 18-22, and don’t miss Captain HurriCain’s Magic Show on Saturday, July 30 at 12:30.

The Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes will present a Woodwind Quintet: Hansel and Gretel at 2:00 on August 1st, and Tanglewood will bring an Animal Show on August 5th.

Have you ever wanted to try an Escape Room? Make an appointment for August 8th or 9th and test your skills. Or, if trivia is more your speed, join us on August 10th for Sand Bar Trivia 4-6:00.

Cool off with Family Water Fun 4-6:00 on August 11th and an Ice Cream Social on August 13th at 12:30.

Free Summer Lunch for youth through age 18 will be served 11:30 to 12:30 Monday through Friday, through August 12.
