Two deputies complete training, ceremony in Hornell

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard announced Steuben County Sheriff’s Office deputies Cameron Dye and Cody Henry graduated from the Alfred State Police Academy.

A ceremony was held at the Main Place in Hornell.

Deputy Dye received recognition for demonstrating the most outstanding physical fitness of all cadets and Deputy Henry was recognized for his leadership as a Platoon Leader.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard presented and retired the colors at the ceremony and Sheriff Allard spoke of the resiliency and nobility of policing in New York State.

Congratulations to Deputy Dye and Deputy Henry who are both currently completing their field training!
