The DMV was abruptly closed yesterday
Those looking for a new drivers license, registration, or title transfer of a motor vehicle were out of luck in Corning yesterday. The issues have been repaired and today Steuben County issued the all clear:
“Steuben County Clerk Judith Hunter has announced the Department of Motor Vehicles branch office in Corning is now fully operational (Wednesday, Apr. 5)
The office in Corning could not process transactions due to state equipment issues.“
