Three daze of fun in downtown Canisteo NY
Beard and Mullet contest deadline is is May 21

In less than a month, downtown Canisteo will come alive. Thursday June 8th is the kickoff of a weekend of great family fun. A 6pm parade followed by a watermelon eating contest is just the beginning
On Friday June 9, the park will be full of vendors and the winners of the “Beard and Mullet” contest will be announced at 5:30pm. More details on the contest from organizers:
“To nominate someone for the beard or mullet contest they must submit a picture with the name and age of the nominee to ccsg43@gmail.com or message Canisteo Community Support Group on Facebook. Nominations must be submitted by Sunday May 21st. Final Voting will be in person June 9th at the downtown Park at 5:30 before the Monica Hall Band performs.”
Saturday June 10 starts with a 5K Run/Walk and car enthusiasts will enjoy the “Cruze’in Time” car show in the park. The big day will end with an outdoor movie starting at dusk.
