$10 fine for those caught using a cell phone!!

Looking for something different while touring the Finger Lakes?  The ‘Beerocracy’ on Seneca Lake may just be it.  According to the proprietors Beerocracy is “located at our main brewing location (Seneca Lake Brewing, 4520 State Route 14, Rock Stream, NY, 14878), and offers a journey back in time and across the pond to a traditional British Pub.” Additionally, “The Beerocracy Pub offers a true experience of a turn of the century British Pub including, socializing, meeting and making new friends, live music and a chance to relax with some great beers, ales, & wines.”

You will want to be aware that Beerocracy offers a cell phone free bar environment, providing its patrons the opportunity to truly. enjoy the pub’s atmosphere and environment.  If caught using a cell phone a $10.00 fine is levied and donated to a local charity.

The Beerocracy says it is  proud to partner with and support other local businesses by offering a variety of other drinks & cigars available for purchase at the pub.

Some of the libations on tap include:

Baker Street – English Style Pale Ale. Harmoniously balanced. Equal parts malt, hop, and yeast character never favoring one over the other. Copper colored. Gentle biscuit sweetness.

The Dunmore –  A hoppy, strong English-style pale ale with a hearty malt backbone. Dry hopped using floral, earthy hops.

Bertie’s Brown Ale – A delicious Northern English Brown Ale, malt focused with hints of nuttiness, biscuit and caramel. Featuring gentle malt sweetness in this overall balanced beer. More malty than a British Bitter with the malt flavors.
