“Leading by example to get citizens involved with the political process”

I have lived most of my life in Hornell, the majority of it on Thacher St in the 1st ward. My wife and I raised our three daughters here. It has been rewarding and satisfying. I decided to run for alderman to help keep Hornell a safe and friendly place for others to settle here.

I feel it is very important to support all local law enforcement who help keep it that way. Keeping Hornell safe and resisting the woke culture that has plagued so many communities, is a priority for me. After retiring from Suburban Propane with 36 yrs of service, I look forward to new challenges. Serving Hornell residents of the 1st ward is one of them. I also am a member of S.C.O.P.E. Shooters Commitee on Political Education. I have served on it’s board for 8yrs and I am the treasurer for the past 7.

Leading by example to get citizens involved with the political process is a very important to me. Keeping in touch with our government ensures free thought and our only way to voice our concerns. I plan to be available to the 1st ward residents and help address your concerns to the council.

Hornell is a great small city and I hope to help keep it that way.

David L. Sutfin ,

1st Ward Alderman Candidate
