LCAA’S Finest

LE ROY – Le Roy cheerleading seems to always be having more fun than most.

That’s the environment that head coach Jamie Holman has created.

Holman returns for her eighth year this winter as the Oatkan Knights look to make yet another run during winter sectionals.

Last winter, Le Roy finished in third place at sectionals and they are looking to place in the top three again this winter.

Team captains this season are seniors Kori Radley, Jenna Saeva and sophomore Mya Ace.

This year’s squad consists of 11 athletes including three seniors, two juniors, two sophomores and four freshmen says Holman.

“Of our eleven athletes we only have two that are new to this varsity team, so many know and understand the high expectations I have with our program and have the experiences from last year to help going into this new season,” coach Holman said. “Our girls will be attending roughly eight competitions this winter, including our LCAA competition and sectionals. I look forward to pushing this team to meet their full potential and seeing them grow and work as a unit to achieve the goals they have for themselves.”
