Pop-up food pantry planned for December 21 in Mt. Morris

Volunteers needed for this holiday event

MOUNT MORRIS – Livingston County and Foodlink are again teaming up to host a pop-up food pantry in Mount Morris. Volunteers are being sought to help staff the pantry and assist with logistics.

The pantry will open at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, in the former Save-A-Lot grocery store at 15 East State St., Mount Morris. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to help with setting up, uploading items from trucks and assisting with traffic flow, boxing food items, delivering food boxes to cars and cleaning up after the event ends. No experience is required to volunteer for the event.
