City of Hornell updates: Water boil advisory lifted, snow removal continues into Thursday

No need to boil anymore

The boil water advisory that was in place for the following streets: Dennis Avenue, Dennis Avenue Ext., Sportsman Club Road, Miles Avenue, Lincoln Street and upper Bennett Street has been lifted effective immediately

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to resolve this matter.

Snow removal plan for 2/10

The City of Hornell Department of Public Works will be clearing snow from the following streets on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Erie Court

Cottage Avenue

Elmwood Place

McDougal Avenue

Pardee Street

Riverside Place

Hakes Avenue

There will be NO PARKING on these streets beginning at7 am Thursday, February 10, 2022.  Please find alternate places to park prior to 7 am Thursday, February 10, 2022.  Failure to do so may result in a ticket or your vehicle being towed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we complete this necessary snow removal.
