Free testing and masks at the Community Arts Center, Finance Committee meeting

Free Rapid COVID-19 Testing, KN-95 masks and home test kits available at the Hornell Community Arts Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. 

City of Hornell Mayor John Buckley today, announced that the City of Hornell will be continuing their partnership with Steuben County Public Health.  The City of Hornell in partnership with Steuben County will be offering free COVID-19 rapid testing, as well as distributing KN-95 masks, and home test kits at the Hornell Community Arts Center on Wednesday, February 16th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

KN-95 masks and home test kits will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis, as supplies last, (please note there is a limit of 2 home test kits per household).  On-site rapid testing will be available to the public during this time, those being tested are asked to wear a mask at all times and remain onsite for approximately ten (10) minutes.

All residents should monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills or repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell and contact their healthcare provider for instructions if feeling ill.

Anyone in need of testing, a KN-95 mask or home test kit is encouraged to visit the Hornell Community Arts Center at 58 Broadway Mall on this date.  For more information please call (607) 324-2100.
