1. Approval of the minutes for the meetings of March 16, 2022.
   1. Resolved that the Board has no objections to the recommendations of the Committee on Special Education and approves the authorization of funds to implement the special education programs and services consistent with such recommendations for the meetings of March 16, 17, 18, 22, 23 and 24, 2022, the CPSE meetings of March 17, 24 and 30, 2022 and the 504 meetings of March 16, 23 and 28,2022.

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the following proposed calendars for the 2022/23 school year:

• Misc. Equipment Disposal

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board authorize Patrick Flaitz to dispose of the following Misc. Athletic, Tech and Maintenance equipment:

1980 Batting Cage –  No Asset Control #

Misc. items on Maintenance Disposal list dated March 30, 2022 Misc. items on Technology Disposal List dated April 6, 2022

• Internal Audit Reports

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of the Audit Committee, the Board accepts the results of the Internal Audit as noted in the 2021/22 Student Services and Risk Assessment Reports of March 2022 prepared by Tompkins, Seneca, Tioga BOCES Internal Audit Services and presented at the Audit Committee Meeting.

• DECA International Competition Trip

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the proposed trip for two students to compete in the DECA International Competition in Atlanta, Georgia on April 23-27, 2022.

• Finance
  • Waste Pickup Bid

Resolved, that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board accept the lowest bidder meeting the specifications on the waste pickup bid and contract for the 2022-23 school year:

Lippincott’s – $27,500

• School Physician RFP

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the recommendation of School Business Official Flaitz to continue School Physician services with Stony Brook Pediatrics for the 2022-23 school year and accept their proposal of $1 for the year (renewable through 2025).

• Athletic Trainer RFP

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the recommendation of School Business Official Flaitz to continue Athletic Trainer services with Maple City Physical Therapy for the 2022-23 school year and accept their proposal of $36,000 for the year.

• HPA Final Agreement

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the final agreement with HPA for the effective July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2027.

• 2022-23 Budget

Resolved that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the 2022-2023 school budget in the amount of $40,039,187

There are numerous personnel items on the agenda.

Discussion:

April 20th meeting will be for the sole purpose of approving the GST BOCES 2022-23 Budget and GST Vote – discussion will be held to determine a time to hold this meeting virtually.

Informational:

The next meeting of the Board of Education will be held virtually via ZOOM on Wednesday April 20, 2022 at           .

The Annual Public Budget Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the HS Library, the next regular meeting of the Board of Education will follow immediately thereafter.

The Annual Budget Vote/Board of Education Election will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from Noon 9:00 in the High School Cafeteria Annex with a meeting of the Board of Education to follow at 9:30 PM in the HS Cafeteria to accept the results of the vote.
