The newest member of the Hochul clan was born on May 1st in Washington D.C.

With a political circus underway in Albany, Governor Hochul had some serious celebrating to do this May Day. Her son and daughter in law welcomed a baby girl and the governor was over the moon with this Facebook post:
“Welcome to the world, Sofia! My son Billy and daughter-in-law Christina are going to be the best parents — this new grandma couldn’t be happier 
“
