County health officials warn that infections are trending upward, approaching 10% positivity rate

County Facebook page will resume public comments

COVID cases are continuing to trend upward with 520 new COVID cases reported since last Monday’s update. Sadly, another resident has passed. In line with NYSDOH, we are asking hospitals to let us know if COVID positive patients are admitted due to COVID or with COVID. Some patients are admitted for COVID reasons or because of COVID complications (due to COVID), while others may be admitted for non-COVID reasons, but have tested positive for COVID (with COVID).

You can see this added element on the hospitalized line of the graphic.
