NYS Police make two felony arrests in Steuben County

An incident reported July 14, 2021 in the Town of Avoca has resulted in multiple counts being filed with the court. State Police arrested Khurk J. Simms, 19, of Bath. He was charged with three counts of second-degree rape (Class D felony), Tampering with physical evidence and possession of a sexual performance by a child, both Class E felony counts and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. He was initially detained following his arrest on May 2.

State Police arrested Trina L. Sullivan, 39, of Bath. She was charged with assault with intent to cause serious injury with a weapon – a Class B felony as well as felony criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use. She was arraigned and held on cash bail.
