We had our state qualifier meet last Friday night, and we had one athlete, Pierce Young, qualify in the steeplechase. He broke his own school record and hit the qualifying standard for the New Balance Outdoor National Championships as well.
Jenna Franklin competed in the 1500m, she placed 8th overall and broke our school record from 2012. The boys 4x800m relay of Braydon Brewster, Cameron Williams, Ibra Ford and Pierce Young took 2nd overall and broke our 38 year old school record in a time of 8:22.56. They rank 9th in division 2 for NYS.
