Numbers are continuing to trend down with 132 new positive tests reported since last Monday’s update. Even so, Steuben bumped up into the medium COVID community level per CDC.
As a reminder, the community levels are determined by CDC and take into account total hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area. Follow the levels at https://www.cdc.gov/…/your-health/covid-by-county.html
In medium, it is recommended that:
1. If you are at high risk for severe illness, talk to your healthcare provider about whether you need to wear a mask and take other precautions
2. Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
3. Get tested if you have symptoms or after exposure
