Western New York has a new sports legend in the making, a graduate of Frewsburg High and St. Bona’s who played on the 2014 Hornell Dodgers championship team.

Grey has been battling his way through the minor league/farm team circuit since his time in Hornell. He played last season for the Mets triple A team in Syracuse NY. That hard work and talent has paid off. The NY Mets called up Grey on Monday to join the team for a game against the Yankees in the “Big Apple.”

While Grey didn’t get to throw his first big league pitch, that is just a matter of time and history has been made.

Congrats Connor!! We look forward to following your career with the Mets!!
