Sheriff Deputies and State Troopers make several felony arrests

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on August 19, 2022, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Andy R. Mattison, age 46, of Hornby Road, Beaver Dams, New York, following an investigation of a 911 open line in the Town of Bradford, New York. It is alleged that Mr. Mattison possessed a quantity of suspected methamphetamine with the intent to sell it. Mr. Mattison was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, a class D Felony. Mr. Mattison was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
NY State Police Reports
— State Troopers arrested 30-year-old Patrick M. Rafferty of Addison. He was charged with felony second-degree forgery involving a deed, will or contract. The incident was reported July 17, 2022 in the Town of Erwin. The charge is a class D felony offense. Rafferty was initially held.
— In the Town of Erwin, State Police arrested Carissa M. Liberti of Bath. She was charged with felony burglary and a lesser count of petit larceny. She was also initially detained.
—During a traffic stop in Addison, state police arrested 58-year-old Sherri L. Seavey of Campbell. She was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI. She’ll appear in Town of Addison court at a later date.
