HAHS: We would like to introduce you all to Corona, recent amputee

Can you help the Hornell Area Human Society and this sweet guy?

Corona is the dog we had posted about a few days ago. Upon further investigation, we found that Corona was hit by a car 3 weeks ago and was left without medical treatment and no medical attention given.

Corona had to be hospitalized at our emergency vet for 4 days. Given the extensive amount of injury, and infection that had set in, the best course of action for Corona, was to have his right leg amputated.

He is now settling in nicely with an awesome medical foster who will help him recover and help him learn how to walk and adjust to life without his leg, and of course give him all of the extra love he deserves.

Coronas vet bills have reached over $10,000 dollars. We have raised $2000 which has gone towards Coronas care, but we were hoping we could try and raise a little more to cover at least half the amount.
