Dormann Library Releases October Event Calendar

The Dormann Library in Bath has an exciting October lineup planned for people of all ages. 

Families are invited to an interactive movie experience as we show Hocus Pocus on our giant inflatable screen at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 8th.  Other Halloween festivities include a Teen Halloween Lock-In October 21st from 6-9:00pm and an All-Ages Halloween Party on October 28th from 6-7:30pm.

The Science and Discovery center is offering 2:00 pm programs about Static Electricity on October 4th and Bats on October 18th. And don’t forget Family Board Game Night, 5:30-7:30 on October 17th.

Youth ages 5-8 have their own Mad Hatter Tea Party crafting program October 6th.  Teens can make a fall shadow box on October 20th and adults are invited to make a fall lantern on October 27th. A Bob Ross Paint-Along is also being offered for adults (19+) on October 24th. All of these programs begin at 6:00pm.

Friday Night Madness has begun! Teens (age 12 and up) are welcome to join us for video games, snacks, board games and tons of other awesome activities every Friday from 3:30 to 6:00pm.

As usual, Miss Kathleen’s fun and educational Discovery Kids Storytime will take place every Friday morning at 10:30. Join her for music, movement, stories, songs, crafts and a snack! For more information, contact the library at 607-776-4613 or email bath@stls.org
