Town of Fremont Notice of Public Hearing at the Town Hall 8217 Cream Hill Road Fremont
Notice is also hereby given that the Town Board of Fremont will hold a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM regarding the 2023 Budget year.
Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Fremont Steuben County for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023 has been completed and is on file in the Office of the Town Clerk where it is available for Inspection by any interested person during office hours. Further notice is hereby given that the Fremont Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Town Hall on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 6:30 PM and at such time any citizen may be heard in favor or against any item contained therein. Pursuant to Section 183 Town Law the Preliminary contract for the Fire Protection and Ambulance will be $77,000.00.
Appropriations have been made in the 2023 Town of Fremont Budget for the following Elected Officials salaries.
Supervisor – $7,200.00, 4 Councilmen – $2,000.00 each, Town Clerk/Tax Collector – 12,246.00, Highway Superintendent – $49,000.00, Justice – $12,000.00.

LEGAL NOTICE
TOWN OF GROVE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Grove at the Town Hall, Route 24, Swain, New York, at 7:30 P.M. on October 18, 2022 concerning Introductory Local Law Number 1 of 2022, entitled “A Local Law to Override the Real Property Tax Cap Levy Established by General Municipal Law Section 3-c.” The purpose of the proposed local law is to authorize the Town Board to adopt a budget for 2023 that provides for an increase in the real property tax levy in excess of 3.2% of the levy for 2023. A copy of the proposed local law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of the proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.
