LCAA’S FINEST

CALEDONIA – Tyler McClurg scored in the first half while Jeremiah Anderson scored after intermission as host Cal-Mum blanked Dansville 2-0 in LCAA crossover action Monday.

Maxwell Poray assisted on McClurg’s goal that gave the Raiders the 1-0 halftime lead.

For Dansville, keeper Cameron Delaney ended the night with seven saves in the net.

“We traveled to Caledonia for a rematch from earlier in the year,” Dansville coach Steve French said. “That match ended in a draw. Senior night at Caledonia belonged to the home team. They would rally the troops and win the game. Dansville has worked hard all season and is continuing to do so. We will find that elusive goal as we move forward I am confident. Player of the game was Brian Geiger and the best tackles tonight belonged to Brady Race.”

Cal-Mum improved to 5-7-2.

The Raiders play at Perry Wednesday at at Geneseo Friday.

Dansville falls to 3-10-2

Dansville will play again Wednesday in Wayland.
