Thursday Morning Musicales presents its second concert of the Marge MacPherson Memorial season. Trombonist Duane Smith and Trumpeter Kimberly Smith will present music for brass. Duane is currently principal trombone with the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes. He was also principal trombone with the Northern Tier Symphony for ten years and has performed with the Akron Symphony, the Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and the Binghamton Philharmonic orchestras. Kimberly performs throughout the southern tier of New York and northeast Pennsylvania. She especially loves small ensemble and orchestral playing. She has served as principal trumpet of the Northern Tier Symphony and principal trumpet of the Northern Appalachian Wind Symphony. She has also performed with the Colgate University Orchestra and Cayuga Brass Quintet. Both Duane and Kimberly have received degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

Their program will include works by Locatelli, Beethoven, Monk, Verhelst and Sherwin.
