Here is a statement from the stations: We are saddened to announce the passing of John Kerr, known to our listeners as John K Scott. He passed away suddenly Monday afternoon. He was a friend, an experienced broadcaster and a great employee and willing to do anything we needed for the radio station. Tower Broadcasting is devastated with the news of John’s passing. Our love goes out to his wife Joy Anne and his family. John Kerr also known as John K Scott was 71 years old.
