Steuben County Sheriff DWI arrests
A man, age 34, of State Route 49, Westfield, Pennsylvania. It is alleged that he operated a motor vehicle while impaired due to drug use on Sagetown Road, Caton, New York. It is further alleged that the accused left the roadway and collided with a fixed object, rolling the vehicle over. The man was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired Drugs, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Operating a Vehicle without Insurance, Unsafe Speed, Fail to Keep Right and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Collision. The accused was released on Traffic Summons to appear in the Caton Town Court at a later date.
A male, age 28, of West Route 66 Blvd., Tucumcari, New Mexico. It is alleged that the accused operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition on State Route 21, Hornellsville, New York. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Unsafe Speed, Passing a Red Light, Passing a Stop Sign and Possession of Cannabis/Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle. The accused was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
A male, age 46, of Doris Lane, Prattsburgh, New York. It is alleged that the accused operated a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition on Doris Lane, Prattsburgh, New York. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Operating with Greater than .08% Blood Alcohol Content. The man was released on traffic summons to appear in Prattsburgh Town Court at a later date.
NYS Police Reports
After investigating a domestic/child abuse complaint in the Town of Avoca, State Police report the arrest of William M. Birdsall, 47, of Howard. He was charged with felony eavesdropping. A court appearance is pending.
Canisteo Police Department
Canisteo police arrested a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, both of Canisteo. Each was charged with felony burglary and petit larceny stemming from an alleged break-in at the Canisteo-Greenwood High School October 24th. The teens will appear in Steuben County Family Court at a later date.
*All those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
