The Hornell Common Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, at 82 Main Street.

Several City of Hornell departments will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving.
City Hall and its offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and remain closed on both Thanksgiving , November 24 and Friday , November 25. City Hall reopens Monday, November 28, 2022.
Also, the Hornell Public Library will be closed on Thursday, November 24. It will reopen on Friday, November 25.
The Hornell Area Transit bus system will be closed on Thanksgiving, but resumes regular service on Friday, November 25.
There will be no garbage collection on Thanksgiving, but it will resume on Friday, November 25. This means that residents whose garbage normally is picked up on Thursday will have it picked up on Friday that week, while those with Friday collection will have it picked up on Saturday that week.
