Apartment building fire in Campbell was intentional
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on November 19, 2022, Steuben County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Dustin E. Cole, age 30, of State Route 415, Campbell, New York, following an investigation of a fire at a multiple residence building on State Route 415 in Campbell. It is alleged that Mr. Cole intentionally damaged the residential building by starting a fire and that other people were in the building at the time. Mr. Cole was charged with Arson in the Second Degree, a class B Felony. Mr. Cole was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released. Steuben County Sheriff’s Office ignitable liquid detection K9 was used in this investigation in conjunction with the Steuben County Arson Team.
