The Smart Steuben team is focusing on reducing childhood obesity, opioid overdoses and major depressive disorders.

Did you know Smart Steuben is a partnership between Steuben County Public Health, area hospitals and community organizations to address health needs in the community? Every 3 years, we are tasked by the state under the Prevention Agenda to perform a community health assessment (CHA) and then develop a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) to work towards improving health in 2 focus areas.
