The Steuben County Office of Emergency Services has been made aware of a natural gas outage (NYSEG) in the Town of Wayne and nearby area. We are in contact with officials from the Town of Wayne and NYSEG regarding the situation. NYSEG officials are on scene investigating.
A warming center has been established at the Hammondsport Fire Department for those affected by this outage.
NYSEG customers can address any questions or concerns to the NYSEG line at 1-800-572-1121.
Reminder if you smell an odor of natural gas, leave your residence and call 9-1-1.
