Community input is essential, both Tuesday meetings are 2-6pm
Steuben County residents had their first opportunity Thursday to weigh in on a far-reaching plan for their county.
The input workshops were held at libraries in Wayland and Corning, with representatives from the
county’s Comprehensive Plan steering committee and The MRB Group on hand to gather opinions on a process designed to meet county residents’ needs during the next 15 years.
The workshops drew scores of residents from the two communities.
The second of two public input sessions on Steuben County’s Comprehensive Plan is set for 2 – 6 pm Tuesday at two locations.
County residents are encouraged to drop by the Tuesday (Jan. 31) sessions held at the Steuben County Annex, 20 E Morris St., Bath and the Hornell Community Arts Center, 58 Broadway, Hornell
The sessions are designed to gather the public’s thoughts on nine issues important to them during the next 15 years.
