Officers recieve recognition for work at homicide scene

From the Livingston County Sheriff:

On January 2nd we held our annual awards ceremony. Over the next few weeks we’ll highlight the award winners. Today’s highlight is one of our Grand Cordon Awards. This award winner receives a uniform bar and certificate.

GRAND CORDON –

Awarded for an individual, unit, squad, or division for the participation of its members in a cited operation.

Captain Ryan Swanson, Sergeant Matthew Thomas, Deputy Matthew Cole, Deputy Connor Mann, Deputy Hudson Vasile, Deputy Dylan Bowser, Deputy Gordy Truax, Deputy Michael Phillips, Dispatcher Melissa Mumm

Captain Swanson, Sgt Thomas, Deputy Cole, Deputy Connor Mann, Deputy Vasile, Deputy Bowser, Deputy Truax, Deputy Phillips, Dispatcher Mumm – Responded to the scene of a homicide, secured the scene, secured the suspect and arranged for necessary support staff response ultimately resulting in successful prosecution of a murder suspect.
