Owner announces plans to lease the former JC Penney/Peebles location

Our friends at Hornell Partners for Growth made an exciting announcement last night: The popular thrift and consingment stores, “Pookies Little Britches” is in the process of opening a fifth location in Hornell.

I have great news I will be opening my fifth store. It will be in Hornell..
If you’re familiar with Hornell it will be in the old JCPenney’s / Peebles store..
If everything goes as planned next week I will be signing the lease…
I will be hiring in Hornell so if you know anybody please let them know..”
Pookies Little Britches sells New and Slightly Used children’s, Juniors, Ladies & Men’s clothing. They currently have stores in Bath, Horseheads, Elmira, and Corning.
