February 13, 2023 Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Larceny Arrests
Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on February 11, 2023, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Miranda B. Elwell, age 29, and Joshua J. Roth, age 39, of Howe Street, Prattsburgh, New York following a month long investigation into reported stolen propane tanks from a retail establishment in Prattsburgh. It is alleged that Ms. Elwell and Mr. Roth damaged a storage facility and stole several propane tanks. Ms. Elwell and Mr. Roth were charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D Felony, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Facilitation in the Fourth Degree and Petit Larceny. Ms. Elwell and Mr. Roth were arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and released.
