The championship matches took place this evening in Arkport with Avoca and Alfred-Almond competing for the Angelina Karr Small School Division trophy. The Alfred-Almond B team got off to a very strong start and in spite of a competitive Avoca A team comeback, A-A hung on for the win with a score of 58 – 42. Congratulations to Alfred-Almond and their coaches Steve Donlon and Kate Coretto for a highly successful All Star season!
The Janet W. Richardson Large School Division trophy will reside in Naples for the year as their team continued their domination of the division with a 20 to 13 win over Corning Gold. Under the leadership of coach Jon Betrus, the Naples team was undefeated throughout the regular season and continued their stellar performance at the championships. Congratulations to Jon and his All Star champions!
