The annual early-season Frostbite Relays became the Sunburn Relays with plentiful sunshine and warm temperatures providing excellent weather conditions on Saturday and the Red Raiders made the most of their opportunities against a field of great teams from Section VI.

For the Boys Senior Ramsey Dean-Prince set a PR in the Pole Vault (9-0) and Seniors Wyatt Argentieri and Gates Miller were crucial to our relays. For the Lady Raiders, 8th graders Silvia Carretto, Riley Harwood, Ella White, and Freshman Selena Maldonado teamed with senior Elaina Flaitz to dominate the 400m and SMR Relays.

The meet was a great early-season test of the teams and the first big meet for many of our younger athletes. The coaching staff all agree that the Red Raiders stepped up to the challenge. It’s also a fun meet in terms of all the relays and a great opportunity to compete against some of Section VI’s best teams.
