Isabel Badeau struck out 17 and gave up just two hits as Alfred-Almond defeated Arkport-Canaseraga, 10-0 on Monday night.
Badeau dominated, striking out the first 10 batters and had 17 strikeouts in seven innings of work.
Catcher Ali Hurd had two hits and stole four bases, Taylor Flaitz had two hits while Olivia Flaitz, Clarissa Bracker, Chloe Flint (double) Gracen Dusinberre and Badeau all had hits.
N. Merry and G. Shay had hits for Arkport-Canaseraga.
