There is a water main break on Rose Avenue, crews are on site now working to repair the break. Residents on the West side of the city may experience low pressure until the break is repaired.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to repair the break as quickly as possible.
UPDATE:
Crews are still working to repair the break and restore service to residents in the affected areas. As a result of the break and a loss in pressure, a boil water advisory will be in effect when service is restored for the following areas ONLY:
Rose Avenue
West Vanscoter Street
Canisteo Street (from Scott St. to Spencer Ave. ONLY)
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and preparing food until further notice.
