Angelo J. Hurlburt jailed on sixteen counts second-degree rape
A Hornell manhas been jailed on rape charges after an investigation that started in August was completed.
Wayland-based State Police charged Angelo J. Hurlburt Sr., 48, of Hornell, with 16 counts of second-degree rape, a Class D felony, second-degree felony coercion, felony course of sexual conduct against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
The initial complaint to troopers in Wayland came in on Aug. 28, 2022. An investigation showed Hurlburt allegedly was having sexual intercourse with a minor for over a year.
A Steuben County grand jury met and issued the charges.
Hurlburt was located by troopers and transported to Steuben County Jail on a Superior Court Warrant.
