The City of Hornell Department of Public works is excited to announce the arrival of four new Chevy pick-up trucks to its fleet.

These new trucks replace aging vehicles in the fleet and, while the trucks were ordered over a year-ago, they have arrived in time for a busy spring and season and have already been put to good use. The trucks will carry out various tasks such as, road maintenance, mowing & mulching, snow plowing, and infrastructure and general repairs.

“Replacing our aging fleet with these new, improved, and more reliable vehicles is an indication of our continued commitment to investing in our equipment and ensuring our Public Works Department has the tools to provide the best level of service to our community,” stated Mayor John Buckley.
