From Steuben County,

BATH – A public hearing is set for county agricultural districts, annual inclusion, before the Steuben County Legislature meets at 10 am Monday in the county Annex building.

The districts represent geographic boundaries for lands that are under the protection of NYS Agricultural District Law, administered by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, and correspond to tax parcel data.

In 2023, legislation was passed allowing lands to be added to the districts annually.
