Earlier this spring, the Bills drafted tight end (TE) Dalton Kincaid out of Utah. Kincaid went from a freshman walk-on to the first TE selected in this year’s draft. As a senior, Kincaid led FBS TEs in receiving yards.
Dalton Kincaid is essentially a big-bodied wide receiver at 6’4 240 pounds that can lineup outside, in the slot, or in-line. Kincaid is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses due to his athleticism and impeccable route running. I expect the rookie to have a monster season “running the pipe” because he excels at seam routes. Look for the Bills to use a lot of 12 personnel or two TE sets the season.
