Hornell Republicans announce candidate slate, ask residents to refuse “fringe idealists”

“Please be kind to your neighbor during this political season”

From Paul Van Caessle, Hornell Republican Chairman and County Legislator,

In 2023, the media continues to help create an expanding, divisive atmosphere all across the nation. Although, hunkered in a quiet valley, Hornell is still affected by the political fallout of this elitest propaganda.

This new world of social media and worldwide networking makes it possible for extreme fringe idealists to organize and begin to persuade the general population to sympathize with increasingly perverse principles. Any question of the morality of these progressive movements results in those same organizations using the same networking process to retaliate by means of their affiliated cancel culture.

So even though this new world of the woke agenda and media bias seems to take place on a larger scale, we need to keep in mind that we can do our part on a smaller stage by being a positive influence on those elements of society and/or individuals which we have relationships with.

The Hornell Republican Party is always striving to focus on building relationships within and surrounding the city to promote those traditional values which we believe will continue to keep our area safe, while fostering the responsible, moral advancement and growth of our community.

That being said, I would like to ask everyone that regardless of your affiliation, please be kind to your neighbor during this political season. Our relationships with each other are much more influential than any politically motivated tools.

The Hornell Republican Party is endorsing the following candidates for this year’s November election.

Alderman Ward 2- Christina Hancock
Alderman Ward 3- Dr. Joseph McKay
