Despite very poor weather we had nearly 100 vehicles participate on Saturday, September 9th!

Don Skinner of Belmont, NY successfully accomplished a 3-peat as Overall Best in Show with his 1932 Ford Dearborn Duel.  Don also won this award the prior two years (with different vehicles)!

We awarded 40 trophies in all, including the Roger Gee Memorial award, where the winner gets their name immortalized on a custom Stanley Cup-style award, also receiving a regular trophy to take home.  This year’s winner was Mark Tilley with his 1976 Chevy C10 Pickup.

Although we had some poor weather, there was no shortage of amazing food thanks to HolyCakes amazing pastries, deserts and coffees, The Wellsville General Store serving up some of the best seafood plates, Napoli of Wellsville’s amazing pizza, Thane Graves and his Dog Doctors food truck as well as God’s County Kettle Corn from Coudersport!

We blew up an engine from a donor vehicle, courtesy of Lietzell’s Repair Shop & Used Vehicles and the winning time slot took home over $300 (it lasted 3 minutes and 16 seconds at full throttle with no oil).

One of our flagship contests, for loudest exhaust, was a hit as usual, here’s the results:

💥1st – Daniel Fuller ‘13 Dragster – 130.9 dB
💥2nd – Regis Faulkner ‘14 Ford Mustang – 129.0 dB
💥3rd – Daniel Fuller ‘69 Camaro – 128.8 dB
💥4th – Tom Knight ‘05 Mustang – 128.0 dB
💥5th – Mike Studer ‘95 Camaro – 127.9 dB
💥6th – Bryan Flamini ‘81 Corvette – 127.2 dB

Lastly, we had a couple major event sponsors that consistently support the event each year.  Bokman of Wellsville, Shorts Oil & Propane, Giant Food Mart and Roberts Electric, LLC help make the event successful!
