DANSVILLE – Senior Ella Frazer posted personal bests this season in the 200 Free (2:16.04) and the 500 Free (6:08.26) to pace the Mustangs in their final home meet of the year against Wellsville Sept. 28.

“Knowing the depth of Wellsville was going to be hard to beat, this gave us a chance to swim some of our freshmen swimmers to take the lead in different events,” Dansville coach Chris Everett said.

Sophomore Kierston Pearson and freshman Marissa Ziefel led the way with personal bests in the 50 Free, while freshman Selena White-Fairbrother posted a personal best in the 100 Back stopping the clock with a time of 1:42.58.

Senior Kaitlyn Lee also had a solid outing as she placed first in not only the 100 Fly but the 100 Back as well.

Junior Abi Kendall also posted a personal best in the 200 Free with a 2:25.08 while junior Haidyn Scollon helped out on all three relays keeping the Mustangs competitive throughout the meet. White-Fairbrother also bested her 50 Free time with a time of 39.89.

During the final individual race of the night, Wolf-Mialky and freshman Molly Morrsmann took first and second in the 100 Breaststroke, both posting personal bests in the event.

Dansville’s next meet will be the LCAA Championships in Bath on Oct. 12 and 14.

This year’s roster for Dansville includes Ella Frazer, Mollie Herrmann, Abby Kendall, Kaitlyn Lee, Kierston Pearson, Haidyn Scollen, Selena White-Fairbrother, Samara Wolf-Mailky, and Marissa Ziefel.
