LCAA’S FINEST
PAVILION – Ariana Roessel and Paola Rios-Santiago helped visiting York volleyball to the easy sweep over Pavilion Monday night in LCAA D-III action.
Roessel, a junior, contributed 15 digs with four kills and two aces while Rios-Santiago, also a junior, added 15 digs and two aces for the Lady Knights, who improved to 11-5 on the season.
York won by scores of 25-15, 25-15 and 25-14.
Eighth-grader Bailey Orman also had a big game as she served for 18 points to go with six digs and five aces while junior Haley Miller chipped in nicely with seven assists, four kills and three digs. Rylee Cuozzo, another junior, also registered five kills for York.
Pavilion was led by junior Cricket Coots who posted 15 digs with four kills and two aces.
Pavilion fell to 3-12.
The win for York, who is 6-1 in LCAA D-III, sets up a huge Thursday night showdown at Perry in a match that will determine this year’s LCAA D-III champions.
Perry defeated York earlier this season in five sets.
